BBBC Spring Concert, May 20 - W.K.Kellogg Auditorium, Battle Creek
The Spring Concert features the one and only "Queen of the Clarinet" New Orlean's legend, Doreen Ketchens. Ketchens, recently featured on CBS Sunday Morning, is joined by BBBC guest artist Wycliffe Gordon and jazz percussionist Herlin Riley for a performance that promises to be a memorable New Orlean Celebration!
High School Youth Brass Band Camp, July 10-14 - W.K.Kellogg Auditorium, Battle Creek
A 5-day BBBC youth education opportunity for brass and percussion students in grades 8-12. Faculty includes BBBC Resident Conductor Michael J. Garasi and BBBC musicians. Free end-of-camp concert: July 14, 6:30 pm
Middle School Youth Brass Band Camp, July 17-19 Marshall High School Auditorium for Performing Arts, Marshall
A 3-day BBBC youth education opportunity for brass and percussion students in grades 6-8. Faculty includes Arris Golden, Conductor-Michigan State University and BBBC Education Director Jerry Rose as co-conductors and BBBC musicians. Free end-of-camp concert • July 19, 6:30 pm
